Matney-Frantz Engineering presents "Financing Community Sized Alternative Energy Projects" at the 2008 TREIA conference.
This November Matney-Frantz's founder and principal engineer, Claud Matney, spoke at the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association annual conference in Austin, Texas. As a state with some of the most progressive energy goals Texas is spearheading community wind projects funded with federal bonds.
Mr. Matney spoke to over 400 industry representatives and legislative members on how non-taxable entities can finance community-owned turbines. Matney-Frantz is currently working with Texas schools and municipalities to apply for the federal funding.
Matney-Frantz Engineering has representatives in Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska preparing applications for Clean Renewable Energy Bonds (CREBs) to finance community projects.
